An eye on things |
|
From fresh food markets to music festivals and Monmouthshire's first walking festival, there's a lot to keep an eye on this summer in the Wye Valley & Vale of Usk.
We’re proud to present the official guide to the Abergavenny Food Festival Fringe in the new guide to What’s On. The king amongst food festivals has achieved so much throughout its 12-year history and the Fringe Festival is a natural extension of the main weekend into a longer celebration of food and good living.
At the other end of the region, a long-running series of events has been quietly building momentum and Chepstow Bookshop’s talks programme now attracts A-list speakers and hundreds of visitors. Monmouth’s established events join forces to mark the Charles Rolls Centenary with a spectacular Kite Festival and Balloon Glow - a free event which promises to be one of the highlights of the summer.
And in October the pace quickens as Monmouthshire’s first Walking Festival gets under way with a ‘round-the-boundary’ challenge.
